The episode starts with Babu ji visiting the in-house temple. He looks for the bhog but can’t find it. Indra informs him that there is nothing left because he had all the panch amrit. Babu ji asks her not to tell Warden Anupama. Indra clarifies that she isn’t the warden. Babu ji insists that Anupama has been like a warden to him for years and asks Indra not to complain. Indra assures she won’t complain but jokes that Babu ji will.
Babu ji mentions that Shetty often complains to Anu about him. He adds that Shetty makes fun of his hair. Shetty asks Babu ji not to talk about his hair. Anupama arrives just then. Shetty complains to her that Babu ji has consumed all the panch amrit and misri and now wants laddoos. Babu ji counters by saying Shetty writes letters to Katrina Kaif but never sends them.
He calls Shetty bald, which annoys him. Anupama suggests they perform the aarti. They hear loud music from the neighbor’s house but decide to ignore it and proceed with the aarti.
Meanwhile, Vanraj is at the dining table, talking about work. A servant follows him, holding clothes. Baa arrives and places tea on the table. She sees Kavya’s photo on a magazine cover and gets upset. She criticizes Kavya for modeling at her age and leaving Mahi to go abroad.
Baa complains that Pakhi and Toshu sleep all day, Dimpy and Titu are busy with dance classes, and Kinjal manages the house alone. She laments that no one communicates in their big bungalow and they can’t talk to their neighbor, Anupama.
She adds that Babu ji lives with Anupama in Asha Bhavan. Despite their struggles, they aren’t sad. Vanraj assures Baa that they aren’t living in a palace of sorrows. Baa urges him to manage his family. Vanraj says he has done his part and can’t control everyone. He asks her not to talk about eclipses in front of the sun.
Baa insists on talking about her husband. Vanraj says Babu ji refused to come back, and there’s nothing he can do. He hopes once the builder completes the tower, everyone will get their flats and won’t have to live together.
Pakhi arrives. Vanraj tells her to lower her music volume as it disturbs everyone. He inquires about her doctor’s appointment. Pakhi assures him she will manage her therapy and doctor’s visit. Baa questions why Vanraj isn’t going to the office. Vanraj says he is waiting for something. He gifts Pakhi a bouquet and a ring, wishing her a happy birthday.
Baa comments on the ring’s cost and tells him not to equate love with expensive gifts. Vanraj insists he will do anything for his daughter and instructs Baa to coordinate with his secretary for the party. He apologizes to Baa and leaves. Baa reflects on the silence in the house and thinks about the lost relationships and love.
Anupama sets aside money for Indra’s treatment, coffee, and Sagar’s books. She realizes she is short of money and worries about managing expenses. Sagar throws a ball at her, jokingly asking her not to eat her nails. Anupama tells him to leave.
Later, Babu ji stands on the balcony, looking at Leela. Shetty asks why Babu ji separated from her if he loves her so much. Babu ji explains that Leela chose her son, and he chose his daughter, and neither is wrong. He asks Shetty about his love story. Shetty admits he is scared. Babu ji encourages him not to fear slaps and laughs. Baa comes to the balcony.
Babu ji throws a flower at her. Baa is about to pick it up when Anupama calls Babu ji. Anupama sees Baa, greets her, but Baa ignores her and leaves. Anupama asks Babu ji why he stays with her. Babu ji talks about his rules. Anupama reminisces about when Asha behen started the Ashram and how they became a family. Sagar jokes about senior citizens and brings medicine, expressing his fear of it.
Anupama jokes that they should get him married to a doctor. Sagar asks Bala Shetty to shave all his hair. Bala calls him cute. Babu ji tells Anupama that Nandita is coming with her daughter for the naamkaran ceremony. Anupama agrees and plans to visit the temple. Babu ji mentions it’s a good nakshatra day according to Indra behen. Anupama says nothing can change now.
Anuj is seen playing the flute in the temple. Pandit ji comments on Anuj being a flower separated from its fragrance and prays for his union with his beloved. Anupama arrives at the temple with Indra. They watch dancers perform.
In the precap, Anupama feels like she sees Anuj and is about to approach him when Sagar calls out to her. Anuj senses her presence and stops playing the flute.
