The episode starts with Anuj playing the flute. Indra tells Anupama to get flowers. Anupama asks the florist about the flute player. The florist says the flute sound is full of pain. Indra adds that the sadhu has been with the troupe for a few months but never speaks. Anupama says sadness is like a whirlpool where happiness drowns.
She suddenly thinks of Anuj and walks towards him. She sees him from behind. Sagar calls her to get the puja stuff. Anuj hears Sagar. Anupama goes to where Anuj was sitting, but he leaves with the sadhus.
Toshu comes home from a party and asks Kinjal for coffee and a charger. Baa tells him to make coffee himself and not to wake Kinjal. She hides the charger on the sofa, saying he deserves it.
Bala offers Babu ji sugar-free biscuits. Babu ji is surprised and asks why Bala is worried about him. Bala jokes that if Babu ji gets sick, he would have to take care of him. Bala says his heart is stuck on someone. Babu ji advises him to confess his feelings. Bala hesitates, fearing rejection.
Babu ji talks about a job opportunity, and Bala says he will take a security job. Bala mentions that he waits to see Indra every day and can’t sleep because of love. They plan to go for an interview and convince Anupama later. Bala leaves as Indra comes to make tea.
Sagar pays a bill and tells Anupama they have 500 Rs left. Anupama says they will manage. Sagar offers to work nights, and Indra suggests taking tuition. Anupama refuses and says she will take catering orders. She asks for their help, not advice.
Kinjal scolds kids for leaving a water bottle in the way. She takes their bags and falls. Anupama helps her up and advises not to overwork. Kinjal says she has to manage everything alone. Anupama comforts her.
Sagar scolds the kids for not helping Kinjal. Ansh bites Sagar’s hand. Sagar jokes about pulling out Ansh’s teeth, and Ansh falls. Toshu arrives and insults Sagar, calling him an insect. Toshu tries to slap Sagar, but Anupama stops him. Toshu taunts Sagar for being without a family. Anupama defends Sagar and scolds Toshu for his behavior.
Vanraj arrives and tells Anupama to be grateful for living in the neighborhood. Anupama retorts that Vanraj is only there because Shah Tower is being rebuilt. She reminds him that Asha Bhavan has been there for years, and she has lived there for six months. Vanraj mocks her for abandoning her family for strangers. Anupama becomes emotional and leaves.
Precap: Pakhi dances at a party and hugs Vanraj. They hear music from Asha Bhavan for Nandita’s godh bharayi. Pakhi goes to the Ashram and accuses Anupama of ignoring her happiness. Toshu smiles.
