Vikas Bahl directed the 2024 Indian Hindi-language supernatural horror film Shaitaan, which was produced by Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios.
The film, a remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash, stars Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Anngad Raaj, and Janki Bodiwala, who reprises her role in the original.
A family is troubled when their daughter comes under the influence of black magic cast by a stranger, and they set out to end the possession and discover the intruder’s intentions.
The film was formally announced in May 2023, with main filming taking place between June and September 2023 in Dehradun, India, and London.
